Are we being picky? Or is it really preferences?

I think some love is superficial. Usually those are the relationships that don't last more than a year. Truly loving someone doesn't mean loving their flaws as well as their positives. It means loving them enough to be able to overlook their flaws and go beyond them. My husband is a wonderful man and I love him very much but he still drives me nuts at times. I love him but I don't have to like him all the time. My favorite kind of love is the kind that lasts forever and when 1 person passes away from old age their spouse dies shortly after not from illness or disease but from a broken heart from missing their other half. It's sappy and corny but a wonderful way to live a life.
